District 90’s Board of Education created the Ad Hoc Committee to support the equal opportunity and inclusion of transgender and gender-expansive students. As part of its efforts, this Committee amended the Board Policy 7:10 Equal Educational Opportunities to include language that reflects the inclusion of transgender and gender-expansive students. Administrative Procedures were also developed that support the revised policy.
