Dial 911 immediately for any situations where a student is in danger of being harmed by someone or harming themselves. Do not hesitate to make your call; doing so could save student lives.

Call or text "988" and the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline will provide 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones.

Reporting a School-Based Threat

To make a report on suspicion of a School-Based Threat, please refer to the following methods of reporting:

Community Members and Families are encouraged to report a concern to Safe@Help IL:

*If the threat is reported outside of school hours (8am-3pm), the Behavior Threat Assessment Team will investigate the report on the following school day.

*If the threat is an emergency, contact the River Forest Police Department at 911.
