The entire District 90 community is invited to a Tri-District Town Hall Forum about the topic of educational equity on Monday, May 1 at Roosevelt Middle School, 7560 Oak Avenue, starting at 7 p.m. The Town Hall Forum is a collaborative event among River Forest District 90, Oak Park School District 97, and Oak Park River Forest High School District 200. The purposes of the meeting are to allow the Boards of Education to learn about the equity-related efforts that are taking place across the Districts, as well as receive feedback from community residents about this important topic. This Tri-District Town Hall Forum will feature speakers from the three school districts, including Dr. Ed Condon, Superintendent of District 90, Dr. Carol Kelly, Superintendent of District 97, and Dr. Joylynn Pruitt-Adams, Superintendent of District 200. Representatives from each District will brief the audience about current efforts that are taking place to promote educational equity and inclusive school climates. There will be ample opportunity for questions and answers from the audience. Hosted by all three Boards of Education, the Town Hall Forum will serve as a special Board of Education meeting for School Districts 90, 97, and 200. It replaces the normally scheduled Committee of the Whole meeting for District 90. Please bring your questions and a friend. We hope to see you there!
