Mr. Brek Hufnus, Band Director for District 90 Schools, has been honored as Teacher of the Month by WGN Chicago.
Mr. Hufnus was selected inrecognition of his educational achievements in the classroom, innovative teaching techniques, and unique contributions to the community.

Mr. Hufnus has taught instrumental music to students in grades 4-8 at Roosevelt, Lincoln, and Willard for more than thirty years, and directs three levels of concert and jazz bands. He was nominated by student Lauren Leibundguth.
