You're Invited to a Session on Digital Wellbeing with Devorah Heitner

You’re invited to attend a webinar about Digital Wellbeing with the author and speaker Dr. Devorah Heitner. The webinar will be held on Tuesday, April 20, from 7 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. as a Zoom webinar. This special event will be hosted by the Roosevelt PTO and District 90 and is opened to the public. There will be ample opportunities for audience questions.

This webinar provides an opportunity for families to receive answers to common questions such as:

  • Are you having trouble understanding your child’s use of social media, texting, and gaming?
  • Would you like to know more about moderating your family’s technology habits after nearly a year of remote, technology-based schooling?
  • As a parent, how do you model healthy tech habits and boundaries?
  • How can you help your children with screen addiction, conspiracy theories or memes that promote hate, or navigating the news

Dr. Heitner will address these and other technology questions. There will be amply opportunities for questions and answers during the webinar.

Dr. Devorah Heitner is the author of Screenwise: Helping Kids Thrive (and Survive) in Their Digital World and the founder of Raising Digital Natives. According to her website, her mission is to cultivate a culture of empathy and social-emotional literacy. Dr. Heitner has a Ph.D. in Media/Technology & Society from Northwestern University.
