Spring Break March 29 - April 2; No Student Attendance Monday, April 5

Spring Break starts on Monday, March 29, and ends on Friday, April 2. Students (both remote and in-person) will not be in attendance on Monday, April 5, but return to school on Tuesday, April 6.

April 5 has been designated as an Instructional Planning Day for staff. The Instructional Planning Day will provide an opportunity for the District’s faculty and staff to plan for the transition to full-day, in-person instruction for students in the classroom. Teachers and staff members will participate in grade-level, department, and building meetings to prepare for the full-day format when students return. The planning day will also enable faculty and staff to plan to better accommodate students who are enrolled in remote instruction. The Instructional Planning Day was recently approved by the Board of Education and is comports with guidance from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), which provides for planning days to support the transition between instructional formats.
