Based on weather conditions forecast by the National Weather Service, all District 90 students and faculty members will participate in remote instruction from home on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, using the schedule outlined below. We are continuing to monitor the upcoming weather forecasts. Along with a winter storm warning, the National Weather Service has also issued a hazardous weather outlook for this evening and most of Tuesday, January 26. The storm system is predicted to drop 5-8 inches of snow on our local region, predominantly during the overnight and morning hours.
On Tuesday, all elementary and middle school students will follow the same instructional schedule as when attending school in-person. This schedule will ensure continuity of instruction with the blended learning (in-person) format. The instructional schedules are as follows:
Grades 1-4 Learning Schedule
8:30 a.m. – 12: 30 p.m.: Combination of Synchronous and Asynchronous classroom instruction and daily specials
12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.: Lunch
1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Asynchronous Specials and Asynchronous classroom assignments
PreK and Kindergarten Learning Schedule
AM Session: 8:30 a.m. – 10: 30 a.m.
PM Session: 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Grades 5-8 Learning Schedule
Roosevelt students will follow the current class schedule that is used during blended instruction (8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.), with all teaching and learning conducted remotely. Students should follow the Day 2 schedule for periods 5-8.
