School Closed on Friday, February 9, 2018

All District 90 schools will be closed on Friday, February 9, 2018, due to inclement weather. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning that is set to go into effect around 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 9. A heavy snowfall in the range of 7-12 inches is currently predicted for our region of Cook County before the storm is expected to end on Friday evening. This decision affects Lincoln School, Willard School, Roosevelt School, and District 90 administrative offices. All school-sponsored after-school and evening activities on Friday, February 9 are also canceled.

Please note that the music concerts at Roosevelt Middle School and the Science Expo at Lincoln School that are scheduled for Thursday, February 8 will occur as planned.  ACT testing on Saturday, February 10 at Roosevelt Middle School is scheduled to take place as planned.

Closing our schools is a serious matter that we don’t take lightly. However, we believe it is necessary to take this action in order to ensure the safety of our students and employees. Please continue to monitor our website for any updated information about the potential impact of future weather conditions.
