The Board of Education announced the selection of Stacey Williams as its newest Board member. Ms. Williams replaces former Board President Pat Meyer who resigned in June to relocate with his family to Colorado. Ms. Williams assumes the position immediately.
A ten-year resident of River Forest, Stacey Williams’ two children currently attend Roosevelt Middle School. She is an active member of the District 90 and River Forest community, and currently serves on the District’s Inclusiveness Advisory Board, the Board of Education’s Equity Committee, IMPACT Board of Directors, and the Oak Park River Forest Community Foundation Board of Directors.
Ms. Williams’ professional background includes most recently working as an independent marketing consultant. Previously, she has also managed national accounts for DDB Chicago and Leo Burnett, both full service advertising agencies. Ms. Williams holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree from Temple University.
